The Heart Behind the Herd

A little story about how it all began—with a girl, a goat, and a whole lot of love.

The Doting Goat started the way many beautiful things do—unexpectedly. One goat turned into two, then three... and before I knew it, I had a full herd, a full heart, and a wild idea that maybe, just maybe, this was something more.

More than a hobby. More than a farm.

A place where people could slow down, feel safe, and reconnect with nature, with animals, and with themselves.

These goats aren’t just animals. They’re intuitive, emotional, and—let’s be honest—a little dramatic. But they’ve taught me that healing can look like laughter, stillness, and muddy hooves.

This isn’t just a business. It’s a love story.

And now, it’s yours too.
